The intense activity of architect Aldo Bernardis in the seaside resort designed by Marcello D'Olivo is highlighted in this investigation.
Bernardis is credited with creating many iconic locations in Lignano, which contribute to its tourist representation. The Yachting Club, the Tourist Office, the Terrazza a Mare, the Kursaal, the President Hotel, and Marina Uno are powerful and representative backdrops.
These buildings celebrate leisure and recreation, and for the most loyal visitors of Lignano, they have become so familiar that they are now an integral part of the vacation landscape.
